Sangha’s merry men march on

Aston Rowant 122 all out
Windsor 123 for 1.

Windsor 2nds win by 9 wickets.

Captain Gary Sangha led the way by breaking through in his first over and cleaning up the tail with 2 wickets at the start of his second spell. Aston Rowant were bowled out for 122. Usman Ahmed again also impressed with the ball, taking 2 wickets for 10 runs in his allotted 8 overs. Crawshaw and Wigley also bowled well and provided good support.

Rob Dawson and Tom Bullock both hit 50's as Windsor cruised passed the target with plenty of wickets and time to spare.
There is no game this Sunday for the 2nd’s as the club is fully involved with the running of the Lord’s Taverners game at Windsor.

Sangha's men say Harrow a quick goodbye

Windsor 2nd XI vs Harrow Weald – Sunday 9th July

Windsor win by 9 wickets.

Harrow Weald 57 all out
Windsor 2nd Xl 61 for 1

In a game that started early, it was 3 needless run outs and excellent new ball bowling by Usman Ahmed that put the visitors (Harrow Weald) on the back foot from the start. They never recovered and crashed to 57 all out.
In reply Windsor lost Steve Green to the 3rd ball of the innings, sparking huge scenes of Harrow jubilation. However, this was misplaced as once their eyes were in, both Malik (34) and Hodgson (23) guided the home side to well-deserved (if not brief) 9-wicket victory.
